About Startex
Startex Textile Co. is a joint stock venture company with more than twenty years of experience in the Egyptian textile industry. Startex is now standing as one of Egypt’s leading factories that produces Polyester and Cotton fabrics.
The factory is located in the 10th of Ramadan city, Startex has its own weaving, dying, finishing & printing sections on an average area of 26,000 square meters divided into four buildings.
Since 1991, Startex has spread its production line to a large variety of fashionable textile capabilities. The ongoing adoption of the latest knowledge and technologies enabled us to become one of the succeeding manufacturers in Egypt.
Our investment in development and design has allowed us to expand successfully into the international market.
Startex average production output is more than 3 million meters per month and the Board Members are highly determined to increase the factories productive capacity to reach 5 million meters per month by the end of our fiscal year.

Quality assurance
The Company is always dedicated to pursuing product quality, and its products are widely recognized in the domestic and overseas textile markets. At the same time, the Company also strives to satisfy the requirement of environmental protection regarding production and management.
The Quality control system of the Company includes.
- Purchase of raw materials:
conduct sample testing prior to order confirmation to ensure quality of the chemicals used in the process of weaving, dyeing, and printing.
- Production:
set up product testing laboratory at each of the production areas, conduct comprehensive testing and research analysis on quality of semi-finished and finished products to ensure strict adherence to customer’s specifications.
- Inventory storage:
conduct sample testing prior to order confirmation to ensure quality of the chemicals used in the process of weaving, dyeing, and printing.
- Machinery and equipment management:
carry out regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
